Private Dining at Ash Tree Barns

Last weekend we were hired for a private dining event. A wonderful group of hens from Leicestershire rented the beautiful Ash Tree Barns in Narborough for the weekend. As a surprise for the bride-to-be they booked us to come in and serve a two course meal. On our arrival, the girls were in full spirits having locked the hen away so she didn’t know we were there!

Sophie laid a grand table in the dining area for them while Ryan and Tracy set themselves up in the fully equipped kitchen.

The girls disappeared to get glammed up and on their return Sophie was ready with welcome canapés. Two options were chosen from our online menu for their main course and desserts. Steak pie served with mash and seasonal veg or wild mushroom risotto with a parmasan crisp, followed by chocolate brownie or berry cheesecake. These were pre-ordered leading up to the event.

We enjoyed serving this lovely, friendly group of hens. I think the bride-to-be was both surprised and happy to see us!
