A beautiful start to Autumn.

We were off to the Red Barn last weekend for the wedding of C&B and what a lovely Autumnal feel it had to it. They had opted for shades of purple, from deep plums to light lilacs. This was all brought together by the wonderful Penny at Synched Events, the girls at Floral Sistas and fairy lights (everywhere!) by Epic Events.

This bride had thought of everything. Personalised tissues, personalised menus, even a gorgeous soft play area for the baby.

We provided reception drinks of Pimms, beer and the brides own elderflower and apple recipe as the soft option. Then came the snack pots! These looked amazing! Instead of individual canapés these guys wished for amazing instagram worthy snack pots. These were filled with different cheeses, cured meats, breadsticks, cheese straws, olives, fruit and popcorn. They looked incredible!

When it was time to sit down for speeches we delivered toast drinks of pink fizz and left them to it. We then served a three course wedding breakfast. Starters were an option of prawn cocktail or leek and potato soup. A choice of our classic chicken dish with creamy white wine sauce or topside of beef with wilted greens and a carrot puree followed with risotto for the veggies. For dessert C&B opted for a duo of chocolate brownie and salted caramel cheesecake. A good idea when you can’t decide between the two!

Then it was on to the bar for the evening where beer flowed and cocktails were enjoyed by many. We had a Mr and Mrs option on, chosen by the bride and groom, of pornstar martinis and Amaretto sours. Evening food was a steady flow of pizzas throughout the night.
