Blogs are back!

2026 is here and we’re already kicking off the catering season! Last year was a little busier at home with the arrival of baby no 2 but now we’ve settled in I’m going to try my best to be more present again on the socials and keep up to date with my blogs!

We started the year over at the beautiful Godwick Great Barn. A nice simple buffet for an 80th birthday. As informed by his wife at the end, exactly what he wanted. Nothing fancy, just simple and tasty!

Our customer went for our 9 piece buffet for 150 people. They chose three types of sandwiches and sausage rolls for their savoury choices. They also had chicken goujons and crisps (three flavours). For their sweet options they opted for Tracy’s famous chocolate brownies, fruit scones with jam and clotted cream and gorgeous colourful macarons.

This all went down very well and people headed back over for seconds and even thirds!

Alongside the buffet we also set up a self serve tea and coffee station. We made sure everything at the buffet and drinks station were kept topped up throughout. We were also there to collect in all the plates and cups so the family could enjoy their time and not have to do any clearing up. Table clothes were also hired from us and were cleared away at the end.

As we were leaving the birthday boys wife seemed us out to personally thank us and praise the work we had done for them. It’s always lovely to hear peoples gratitude.
