A Beautiful Garden Wedding
Last weeks event was the wedding of the lovely S & C. Having worked closely with the couple for around a year, we were very much looking forward to their special day.
The sun made an appearance for the first time in weeks and shone down on S & C and all their guests in the garden of their very own home.
After arriving from the local church we were on hand with Pimms and Peroni to keep everyone watered while they mingled and had their photos. We made sure all tables were stocked with wines and water before the guests sat down.
It was then time to sit down for a three course wedding breakfast. The starter of choice was our ever popular ham hock terrine with its gorgeous bright pink beetroot horseradish. There was fresh bread for each table. This was followed up with locally reared beef fillet, dauphinois potatoes, kale and carrot puree with red wine and rosemary jus. The bright orange of the carrot puree really making a statement on the plate.
Last on the list, for dessert, was Tracy’s classic and always much loved salted caramel cheesecake. Every single plate was scraped clean of every course which is exactly how we like it!
During the drinks reception and straight after the meal the bar was open to keep everyone topped up all night.
For the evening food, S & C decided on mini fish and chip cones to be handed round the marquee with a condiments table beside the bar. These went down a storm, especially on the dance floor where people didn’t even have to stop to eat!
S & C, thank you for choosing Rudd Events. It’s been a pleasure. Best of luck in your future life and Mr and Mrs.
