Introducing the 1st Congham Food Fayre
What is Congham Food Fayre?
A celebration of the very best food and drink producers and suppliers in the area with 50+ suppliers showcasing (and, of course, selling!) their fantastic products. The event will be dog friendly with live music and things for the kids to do.
THE BIG QUESTION, HOW MUCH WILL IT COST (PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY)!?
Every pitch will cost between £150.00-£300.00 for the two day event. There will be NO VAT to add which will help to make our event affordable for smaller producers as well as large. HOT FOOD SELLERS ARE RESTRICTED TO THE RED STANDS ON OUR SITE PLAN*, this is our designated food court. ALL OUTDOOR EXHIBITORS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN POP UP TENT THAT FITS INSIDE THEIR 3METER X 3METER PITCH. Power will be available for the food court area at a small additional cost, you are more than welcome to bring your own generators (this is advised) or gas appliance but these must be PAT tested and/or have current gas safety certificates. Low power items such as tills can be used in the Small stand holder marquee FOC if required at the provided power points. Please bring your own PAT tested extension leads. If power is required for the central outdoor stands you would be required to provide your own generator (power source) to avoid running leads over the gardens and causing unnecessary hazards, you must let us know if this is not possible before bookin. Each stand will be provided with a 6ft trestle table and two chairs if required, this must be marked on your booking form.
*If you have a converted vehicle and would like to attend please let us know. There is an area at the top of the site plan that can be made available for converted vehicles. These pitches are not marked on the site plan and will be charged at the same price as the food court pitches. Vehicles will not be permitted on the lawn.
When is Congham Food Fayre?
Congham Food Fayre is a two day will and will be on Saturday 1st June (09.00-17.00) and Sunday 2nd June (10.00-16.00). Set up is available from 09.00 on Friday 31st May. Security will be on site Friday and Saturday night and you are more than welcome to leave stands intact at your own risk. Vehicles will not be permitted on the lawn at any time.
Where is Congham Food Fayre?
The event will take place at the stunning, brand new events venue, High House Gardens in Congham (PE32 1DP). These beautiful, historic walled gardens will most certainly be the next premier events venue in the area and this is an opportunity to be at their first major event. How much will the public pay to attend?
We are currently working on the basis that the event will be free to enter but a charge of £5.00 per vehicle per day will be applied to park on site (subject to change). High House Gardens is set in tens of acres of land and has parking for upto 500 cars in the current planned parking area. Exhibitors will of course have their own parking area to use free of charge. We hope this makes our event more accessible than others. With such a large amount of people living within 10miles of the venue we are hoping for a great turnout.
How will we advertise?
We’re pleased to say we have a large advertising budget for the 1st Congham Food Fayre. Our advertising campaign will include local radio adverts, local publication adverts, strategically placed road banners and signage, a large paid social media campaign as well as a dedicated website (www.conghamfoodfayre.co.uk -coming very soon) The bulk of our advertising campaign will start in April. We also hope that our exhibitors would help spread the word on their own social media pages.
Duplicate stands and WIFI…
We will be limiting each type of product to two different exhibitors. The exception to this rule is that hot food suppliers will have no duplicate stands. This will give the public a great variety of stands to choose from and will give exhibitors maximum opportunity to sell their main product. Of course there will be overlaps where exhibitors may sell a second product that competes with other stands, we will be unable to police this. We are currently extending the WIFI to cover the walled garden. This will be the first event to use the WIFI with a large amount of traffic so performance is yet unknown. Should you have a mobile WIFI boosting devise we strongly recommend bringing this to the event so none of your sales are interrupted.
How do I book?
Simply pop us an email and let us know and we will get back to you regarding our availability. Please let us know which pitch you would prefer and we will let you know its availability or its closest available pitch. We are working on a strictly first come, first serve basis. A 50% deposit is required to secure your pitch upon booking with the balance required by 1st May. All payments are non-refundable should you cancel your booking for any reason. YOU MUST CONFIRM AND AGREE YOUR PITCH AND PITCH FEE WITH US BEFORE FILLING OUT YOUR BOOKING FORM. BY SIGNING YOUR BOOKING FORM AND/OR MAKING ANY PAYMENTS YOU ARE CONFIRMING THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE WITH ALL OF OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS AND YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE.
